The work that we carry out is of paramount importance for the wellbeing of these lovely feline creatures
All rescued animals receive veterinary care, are vaccinated against the most common major diseases, are identity chipped and also sterilised before being placed in new homes. We also sterilise cats which are living wild in order to try and limit any future problems with excess strays. Our goal is to carry out as many sterilisations as possible to limit the numbers of unwanted kittens and hopefully prevent more animals going through the same suffering that those we rescue have done.
However, despite all of our efforts, these animals have no chance without more help. They need the help of the volunteers who are prepared to face the conditions inside the killing stations and to make heart-breaking decisions. They need the help of animal protection agencies and charities like ours but, most of all, they need YOUR help, aid and donations!
We concentrate our efforts with cats for 2 main reasons: first of all, we are a very small organisation and we all work full time so our time is limited. Secondly, there are very few animal rescue centre in the Costa Del Sol for cats, there are 2 in particular that have very good facilities for abandoned domestic cats and do an amazing job. We help to re home these cats when we can and also manage a wild cat shelter where these cats can live freely with shelter, food and water.
