Re-Homing Programme

Thanks to her years of rescue experience, Canan has extensive contacts in Germany and Switzerland. She has developed a great network of people who understand the suffering these animals endure and who choose to adopt an animal from Spain.

Canan is based in Switzerland and, with the assistance of her volunteers, she is able to carry out home checks with potential adoptive parents. We always ensure that our animals go to the loving, safe and caring homes they deserve and it is our greatest joy to receive updates on the animals that are relocated.

For those of you in the United Kingdom, you are also able to adopt an animal from us but due to strict UK quarantine regulations, your wait would be a little longer. Your new pet must spend 6 months from application of their passport in a foster home in Spain to satisfy UK anti-rabies regulations. If you fall in love with a cat on our site and you wish to adopt, we ensure your cat is well looked after until it can travel. If the cat has been in a foster home for some time it may in fact be ready for transport.
